PALS is seeking a part-time Barn Assistant. Candidates must possess an understanding of basic principles of horse care and handling techniques. PALS’ Barn Assistants are responsible for ensuring daily horse care needs are met including feeding, turnout, and mucking/bedding stalls. PALS is seeking a full-time Facility Manager. The Facility Manager ensures that all program and boarded horses’ daily needs are met. Duties include daily feeding/watering, turning out, mucking stalls and replenishing bedding as prescribed for each individual horse’s needs. General facility maintenance for horse and client safety is a primary objective of the Facility Manger. The Facility Manager is also responsible for managing the maintenance and care of the PALS horses such as, but not limited to, scheduling the farrier and vet as well as basic horse first aid. This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and work outside in all weather conditions.
