PALS is now accepting younger volunteers through its Youth Volunteer Program! A person between then ages 12-15 may help as a program volunteer so long as they are be able to demonstrate substantial horse experience, including:
An individual between the ages of 12-15 may participate as a volunteer with PALS working with horses but not in sessions, if they meet the above criteria and are accompanied and directly supervised by a parent or guardian the entire time. Both under-age volunteer and parent/guardian must undergo appropriate volunteer training sessions and both must fill out a PALS volunteer application separate from the Youth Volunteer Application. Final approval of a volunteer under the age of 16 will be given at the discretion of the Executive Director. PALS has the right terminate volunteers under the age of 16 for any reason.
