What does it mean to be a PATH Intl. Premier-Accredited Program?

The Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.) is committed to the advancement of equine-assisted services for lifelong impact. PATH Intl. holds accredited programs to rigorously developed standards, credentialing and education. This means our certified instructors are prepared to offer safe and engaging services for you and your loved ones.

Does PALS provide therapy?

No. PALS offers equine-assisted services (EAS) and adaptive riding. We do not provide treatment or diagnoses. Our program uses the therapeutic nature of horses as a modality to help reinforce the progress and skills developed with a  Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Recreational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology professional. We can collaborate with your therapist to identify goals and determine a specialized plan for you.

Does PALS accept insurance?

Because we are not a medical facility we are unable to accept insurance. Thanks to the generosity of donors and through certain grants, we are able to offer some scholarships and discounted services. Contact us to see if you qualify.
